  • This poster presents analysis of two DNA casework labs and demonstrates that technology can multiply the productivity of a DNA analyst, thus creating “Virtual DNA Analysts”.
  • Labs can effectively reduce their backlog without hiring.
  • Agencies must establish the correct balance of technology and staffing to equip analysts to produce at their highest levels.
