STaCS™ implementation at the California DOJ
Richmond, CA – September 29, 2006 – STaCS DNA announced today the implementation of STaCS-DB Enterprise™ at the California Department of Justice.
This initial implementation of STaCS includes a CAL-DOJ specific Sample Reception Module which incorporates sophisticated features for enabling high throughput recording of sample submission data using both OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and manual data entry technologies and methods.
The system also provides sophisticated functions for managing duplicate sample submissions, B.O.L.O. submissions (Be On the Look Out), and conflict resolutions for both Convicted Offenders and Arrestees.
The anticipated processing volume through STaCS-DB Enterprise™ for the State of California in 2007 is 250,000 samples per year with a projected increase to 310,000 samples per year in 2009.
This initial release will be utilized in beta form until full implementation which is targeted for
Q2 2007.
