RCMP-STaCS™
2.2 – Training Module
Anjura Technology, the leading provider of tracking and control
software for DNA Data Banks, today announced the release of RCMP-STaCS™
2.2.
The
new Training module provides Supervisors and QA/QC personnel with
the ability to manage training samples (including expected DNA
profiles) and to initiate, monitor, and update training sessions.
Training session results can also be tracked.
"Similar
to the Proficiency Test module, the new Training module includes
all elements required to satisfy the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation
Standards" says Kathy Bowen, Manager, DNA Analysis, National
DNA Data Bank. "A key feature of this new module resides
in the fact we can train new analysts without requiring a parallel
system; STaCS™ recognizes a new trainee at login and will
only provide access to training related data and functions."
added Bowen.
STaCS™
2.2 also provides many training related reports targeted at both
QA/QC Analysts and Supervisors.
