Craig brings to the STACS DNA board of directors a background in technology trends and capabilities, design and architecture, public safety, and forensics. He is currently President of Bittacle Consulting Limited, providing technology architecture services to public and private sector organizations. Previous positions include VP Technology for several high-tech companies as well as positions in technology management at Lloyds Bank. Craig has a Bachelor of Computer Science with Specialization in Software from Acadia University.
Steven Gareau joined the STACS DNA team in 2000 and has worked his way up through the software development organization to become Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining STACS DNA, he worked at AT&T Capital and several federal government agencies. Steven has more than 20 years of experience in the architecting, development and implementation of software applications. He has been responsible for all aspects of the application development lifecycle and provides technical leadership to the STACS DNA development team and client community. A skillful problem solver and systems integrator with a focus on Microsoft technologies, he has developed and implemented mission-critical business solutions for a number of federal departments and private organizations. Steven has a Computer Science degree from Algonquin College.
Jacques has over 30 years of financial management experience in both the public and private sectors, including audit, compliance, accounting, and mergers and acquisitions. A Chartered Accountant, he also has significant skills as a business owner, having successfully established, grown and sold a full service leasing company and a technology solutions company. Jacques is currently a management and financial consultant. Previously, he held senior positions at Coopers and Lybrand, Loeb/Provigo, Bell Northern Research and Anjura Technology. He graduated with a BComm from Carleton University.
Chris brings a significant background in organizational governance, management practices, process improvement, and forensics. He is the owner of RD IMPACT, where he assists forensic labs with process improvement and adaptation to software automation. He also runs workshops to help businesses meet their strategic, process and service improvement objectives. Chris was co-founder and President of Anjura Technologies in 1998, where he acted as the systems architect during the creation of automation software for the RCMP’s to meet DNA databank legislation, which ultimately became STACS-DB Enterprise. Chris graduated in Computer Science from the Honeywell Institute.
Sue brings to the STACS DNA board strengths in sales and marketing, human resources management, and software engineering. Trained as an electrical engineer, she is now a Client Executive with Randstad Canada, and previously at Sapphire Canada which was acquired by Randstad, where she specializes in working with Federal government and telecom organizations to meet their human resources needs. Previously, Sue was co-founder and principal at Anjura Technologies, where she continued as a Client Executive after the company was acquired by CNC Global. She has also worked as a systems programmer. Sue has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario.
Jocelyn has a proven track record in business leadership, public safety, project management, application design and development, database design and development, and technical integration in both the public and private sectors. As the President and COO of STACS DNA, he is responsible for driving business and operations. He has dedicated the past 14 years of his career to the development and deployment of world-class DNA automation software technologies. Jocelyn joined Anjura Technology in 2001 and oversaw the creation of STACS DNA and its offerings. Prior to that, he worked as a freelance IT consultant at a number of federal government agencies. Jocelyn is a Computer Science graduate from Outaouais College.
Brenda provides the STACS DNA board 40-years’ experience in public safety, project and operations management, business transformation, business and systems analysis and architecture, and quality assurance with both the federal and private sectors. She is a project and management consultant for federal government agencies. Previously, Brenda managed and mentored teams of application developer and quality assurance teams as well as business analysts and architects for several national and international systems. Brenda was a co-founder of STACS DNA, was previously Vice President of Operations, Client Relations and Human Resources for Anjura Technology, and became Branch Director and Client Executive for CNC Global following its acquisition of Anjura.
